"Spice Scented Morocco" in the October 2008 issue of this fine magazine features some of my favorite Moroccan dishes. The photographs are appetizing enough to eat right off the page!

The booksigning I held at the farmer’s market in Vista on April 19th, 2008 was a great success. Did you know that it is the grand-daddy of farmer’s markets in San Diego County? Up and running for over 20 years! Read all about it:

I can’t wait to get my hand on the memoir of your life in Morocco. Although I wish I was in the US so that I can visit your booksigning and other events held by you, I am still happier to be here in Casablanca/Mohammedia and enjoy the simplicity of daily mint tea with warm bread and smen. Thank you for educating the world on what life in Morocco really is like. Victoria.

I wanted to leave one of my favorite recipes. It is very easy to do and delicious. It is called Kefta bel Beid - Meatballs in Tomato Sauce with Eggs Sunny Side Up.

I can’t wait to see you version! I love kefta, and I include a recipe for it in all my books.
Bismillah!
